This was another “While  you were out project.” We snuck in as a surprise while our clients were gone on vacation so he could surprise her with the bedroom of her dreams. Being newlyweds they hadn’t figured out what to do with their wedding pictures, let alone how to furnish their bedroom. We helped them narrow down their design style to “Colorful Mid-Mod” and sent them to relax on vacation. They loved floating nightstands from Crate and Barrel, but it just wasn’t in the budget. We figured out how to recreate the look for less than half the cost and gave then a dramatic bold accent wall to highlight the bed wall. A sitting area for morning coffee or a late-night read sits beautifully in a neglected corner graced with their fabulous wedding pictures. The gold velvet drapery frames the window beautifully making a dramatic statement. Needless to say, she was thrilled when she came home!
